Customize Your Holiday Spirit with Basic Invite
This post is sponsored by Basic Invite
The year is (very quickly) starting to wind down, so it’s the perfect time to get in the spirit of the season! The binging of Christmas movies has begun thanks to the Hallmark Channel, Lifetime, and even, Netflix. My Thanksgiving menu is going through “strategery.” Gifts will be purchased soon (and some, truthfully, last minute.) But one to do on my list that needed to be addressed (pun intended) is…
Holiday cards.
With family and friends scattered around the country and the world, the best way to share the holiday love is through a card. It’s a personalized memento to let the people you love or like (are you allowed to “love” your work colleagues?) know that you are thinking of them during the coziest season of the year.
There is a company that can help you with all of our your customized stationery needs. They are…
Drummer boy drumroll, please!!!
Basic Invite. Basic Invite has been dedicated to serving customized stationery and the printing Christmas cards since 2006. Their passion is to help you create the perfect card with the ultimate goal of making every customer a happy one. Here are a few things I have learned while using their service.
500 + 180 + Your Creativity = Infinite Possibilities
That might seem like fuzzy math, but with over 500 designs including trifold holiday cards and a palette of 180+ colors, Basic Invite has something for everyone. And you know what? The site’s interface is user-friendly, so the process to make your stationery your own is FUN! Even with a plethora of choices from design to color, I didn’t find the experience overwhelming. You’ll see what I designed a little later in the post.

Signed. Sealed. Delivered. They’re Yours.
Did you think the customization options for your holiday cards was over? Oh, no, no, no! The wrapper for your heartfelt holiday wishes and invitations is just as important! Basic Invite has over 40 colors to choose from to make your creation stand out in the mailbox! And guess what else?
The envelopes are “peel and seal,” so no wretched glue taste will ruin your holiday spirit! You can save the licking for candy canes.
Also, Basic Invite can help you curate all of the addresses from your work Christmas party invitation to your personal holiday cheer. The company offers an address capturing service that allows customers to share a link on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, or any other form of social media to request their friends and family’s addresses which will be stored in the customer’s account and can then be selected during the design process.
Best of all? Basic Invite offers recipient address printing at no cost on all Christmas card orders. And as you can see from the photo below, the print work would make even the Grinch’s heart grow!

Foil(ed) Again
To make your holiday cards a little more “extra,” some Basic Invite designs include a foil option in gold, silver, or, my favorite, rose gold. Customers can choose a flat or raised foil within their design. You know what I say to that?
BLING. IT. ON.

Who Doesn’t Love a Sample?
Basic Invite is one of the few websites that allows you to order a printed sample of your actual stationery piece! This will enable you to see how it will print as well as feel the paper quality before you ever have to place your final order.
I had a few samples of my creations sent to me. Below are my two favorites! All of the stationery I designed drew from the color palette of the Work Play and Chardonnay logo. I am having a hard time deciding between the “splatter” paint border or the card that has a “postcard-y” look and feel. Which one do you like best?

Your Code to Get Into the Holiday Spirit
The holidays are just around the corner, and there is no better time to get your holiday card situation in order (and ordered). To help you get in the holiday spirit, Basic Invite is offering 30% off with coupon code: holi30!
It’s the most wonderful time of the year! (I am singing to you!) May your holiday season be filled with family, love…and the cutest holiday cards!
Work Hard. Play Hard. Drink Chard.

Awww these are sooo cute. What a great idea for the holidays. But honestly, I don’t have a budget this year to share good tidings. Just a few gifts for the kids of friends. No Christmas bonus for a stay at home mom like me. hehe

I always like foil for invites. It adds an element of class that is hard to resist.

I used to wait to receive a birthday card on my birthday. Just the fresh fragrance of the card..feeling the font on the sheet, personalised message..just the warmth of a simple card meant so much to me as a kid. It was like a card created bonds and forged them for life with words you could never say. Good that Basic Invite is bringing warmth back. Bringing celebration an.d spreading love back. There’s something really endearing about a card
